David J. Den Dooven
David J. Den Dooven practices in the areas of probate and estate planning, taxation and business law. He regularly advises clients in all aspects of wealth transfer planning, probate avoidance, business succession planning and asset protection planning. In his estate planning practice, Dave represents a diverse client base, from those with estates of $1 million or less to high net worth individuals and families. Dave holds a Certificate of Completion in the area of probate and estate planning issued by the Institute of Continuing Legal Education and the Probate and Estate Planning Section of the State Bar of Michigan.
Dave advises clients on a wide range of general corporate issues in both the profit and non-profit sectors, including entity formation as well as preparation and review of general corporate documents and contracts. He also has experience in the formation of private foundations and public charities and other charitable planning endeavors.
Prior to joining the firm, Dave was a senior tax consultant with a nationally recognized accounting firm, where he provided tax advice and compliance for both individuals as well as businesses across a wide range of industries, including real estate and automotive.
