Out on the town with Kerr Russell: Inforum and ACG Detroit
Kerr Russell was present at two recent Metro Detroit networking events celebrating industry best practices ...
The August 9 Inforum panel at the University of Michigan addressed personal branding in the age of social media. Emily (Solecki) Stieber, MBA, of Henry Ford Health System moderated a balanced and detailed discussion with many practical tips. Kudos to Erin Rose of Positive Detroit and Every Two Minutes, Eleni Kelakos of The Eleni Group, Brenda Meller (Zawacki) of Walsh College, and Amanda Lewan of Bamboo Detroit for their exceptional, generous, and candid insight. Kerr Russell is a proud sponsor/member of Inforum, whose mission is to combine strategic connections, proven professional development programs, a respected forum for new ideas, and original research to accelerate careers for women and boost talent initiatives for companies.
The Association for Corporate Growth Detroit Chapter August 9 Lunch and Learn at the Detroit Golf Club featured Mark Horne of Plymouth Growth Partners, Julie A. Langdon, CFA of Prudential Capital Group, Gary Lewis of Cascade Partners, and Doug Sutton of Huron Capital Partners. The panel focused on private equity, non-traditional lenders, mezzanine debt, recapitalizations, minority equity investors, and non-traditional debt and equity financings as a means for providing growth capital. This seminar built on previous topics to show alternatives to traditional banks as a source of growth capital and financing.
