Kerr Russell member Max Sneyd participated in Automation Alley's round table “The Marshall Plan: Educating and Building Michigan’s Future Workforce” with Michigan’s Lieutenant Governor Brian Calley on June 8.

Automation Alley is a nonprofit technology and manufacturing business association and Michigan's Industry 4.0 knowledge center, with a global outlook and a regional focus. They connect industry, academia and government to fuel Michigan's economy and accelerate innovation. They offer programs and services in business growth, entrepreneurship, talent development, defense and international business, providing resources and knowledge to help members grow and prosper in the digital age.
  
The mission of Automation Alley is to position Michigan as a global leader in Industry 4.0 by helping members increase revenue, reduce costs and think strategically during a time of rapid technological change.

Michael “Max” Sneyd has 20 years of experience in the areas of intellectual property, commercial litigation and business law and leads the firm's Intellectual Property practice group.  He appears regularly before state, federal and appellate courts on matters related to all aspects of civil business litigation.  In addition, he utilizes alternative dispute resolution methodologies to achieve positive results outside of the courtroom.

Max focuses his practice particularly on intellectual property protection and litigation, business torts, entertainment law and supplier disputes.  He has extensive experience prosecuting trademark applications with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, as well as litigating trademark disputes before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.

Outside of the litigation context, Max regularly assists clients in negotiating technology licenses and other intellectual property agreements.
