In June 2017 Daniel G. Beyer obtained a defense verdict in a wrongful death medical malpractice action in Oakland County.
Mr. Beyer successfully defended a family practitioner, as the jury held the physician was not responsible for the 45 year old patient’s sudden death due to a pulmonary embolism the morning after the physician had requested but did not receive the patient’s chart. The plaintiff had requested over $3,000,000 in damages.
