Bio
Nezar drafts and provides counsel on agreements in the technology sector related to the design, development, and licensing of various technologies. He also works as part of firm’s Data Privacy and Cybersecurity team to draft and review company policies, facilitate cross-border data transfer arrangements, and counsel clients on the risks associated with the control and processing of data around the globe.
Additionally, Nezar is experienced in drafting and negotiating a variety of artist, influencer, branding, and licensing agreements in the experiential and marketing space for both SAG-AFTRA and non-SAG talent. He is also skilled in conducting general trademark and copyright compliance reviews. He was recognized as a Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch for 2022, an award given to attorneys early in their careers for outstanding professional excellence in private practice
Prior to joining Kerr Russell, Nezar served as in-house counsel to a large experiential marketing agency. His experience being intertwined with the agency’s business teams has helped streamline his practice to provide the type of immediate and practical counsel that fast-moving and nimble companies expect.
