Biography

George has more than 35 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, taxation, and other transactional work in many states and jurisdictions.  George is licensed to practice law in both Michigan and Florida. He previously served as a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and co-chair of the firm’s Business & Corporate Law Department.

A lecturer and speaker on a variety of business law and taxation topics, George is also the author of many articles and publications. He co-wrote the book Michigan Limited Liability Companies, a publication of the Institute of Continuing Legal Education at the University of Michigan.

George holds a master of law degree in taxation and was ranked among The Best Lawyers in America®, by Woodward/White, Inc., in the area of tax law.
