James Tamm and Paul Indyk obtained a unanimous no cause of action jury verdict in a medical malpractice case after five days of trial in Oakland County Circuit Court. The case involved a claim that a gastroenterology physician failed to stop an EGD procedure when food material was encountered in the patient’s stomach, resulting in respiratory distress and alleged stroke. The jury found that the physician did not violate the standard of care.
