Message from Kerr Russell‘s receptionist Angie Lyons-Hincks: “I wanted share with you all some pictures of what you helped make happen. When we started this, I would have been happy with 25 bags. Then with the amount of interest, we changed to 50 bags, but because of you, Facebook and Paula’s family, we were able to deliver 126 comfort bags as well as lunch for the staff at the clinic. The patients, doctors and nurses at the infusion center [Beaumont] were incredibly touched!” More photos here.
To honor the memory her sister Paula Longwell, who was also a longtime Kerr Russell employee, receptionist Angie Lyons-Hincks and Paula’s husband Gary Longwell started the Facebook page “Paula’s Pay It Forward.” As Angie writes, “We would like to turn a heartbreaking anniversary into something good. She fought very hard during her (less than) three year battle with breast cancer. She was willing to do anything she could and experiment with any treatment out there if it meant getting closer to finding a cure for triple negative breast cancer.” Please take a moment to like the page and, if so inclined, share with your friends.
