Kerr Russell welcomes new paralegal Katherine Herman. Kathy attended college at Saginaw Valley State University where she was a political science major and an English minor. A lifelong Michigander, she is originally from Caseville. Kathy and her husband have three daughters, and Kathy is a proud “marching band mom” to her youngest.
In her spare time, Kathy notes, “I find working in the garden/flower beds therapeutic; that includes pulling weeds! I love to go out in the garden and decide what is for dinner by what is ready to pick!” When she learned that Kerr Russell is a firm that loves its canine companions, Kathy observed, “The only breed of dog for me is a rescued dog. Our current rescue is a six-year-old Husky/Lab mix named Mocha.”
Katherine Herman is a member of Kerr Russell’s medical malpractice team, focusing on all aspects of discovery including: case management; medical research; ordering records; summarizing medical records and other relevant documents; drafting discovery pleadings including interrogatories and document requests; responding to discovery pleadings; drafting witness lists and discovery motions. Kathy also assists with trial preparation, which includes: creating trial books; indexing deposition transcripts; organizing exhibits; and creating demonstrative aids.
