Kerr Russell Wins Summary Disposition in Real Estate Matter

Kerr Russell’s clients were sued by a disgruntled sibling in connection with a transfer of property to the firm’s clients. The sibling claimed that her mother lacked authority to convey the property when she held a life estate only. The court disagreed and upheld the transfer to the defendants. The court ordered summary disposition in favor of Kerr Russell’s clients without discovery or trial.
