On September 18, 2017, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced that it would be resuming premium processing for H-1B petitions subject to the 2018 cap. The resumption of this service applies both to Bachelor and Master’s Cap applications.
As announced on June 23, 2017, the USCIS first resumed premium processing of H-1B petitions filed for medical doctors under the Conrad 30 Waiver program as well as interested government agency waivers. It is important to note that Premium Processing remains suspended for all other H-1Bs including change of employer and extension of stay petitions.
Kerr Russell will of course continue to monitor USCIS’ announcements concerning the acceptance of other H-1B petitions under the premium processing program.
