In 2016, two freshmen from Wayne State University, Nicholas Ang and Camilla Cascardo, decided to take it upon themselves to address hunger issues by redistributing food from university cafeterias and local restaurants that would have otherwise gone to waste.
With the help of Max Sneyd and Andrew Eurich, attorneys at Kerr Russell, the students’ vision become a reality. They started the Detroit Feedback Loop, and organization that provides meals to the community from excess food that is not consumed at university dining halls and local restaurants.
